Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the leading
cause of sudden cardiac death in young people.
Methodist Healthcare is partnering with AugustHeart
to provide screenings for young athletes ages 14
through 18. A parental waiver must be signed in order
for the athlete to receive a hear t screening. Please
