launched the new

, San
Antonio’s Health Information Resource,
featuring a fresh new look and many
user-friendly features. The new site of-
fers easier navigation to learn more
about services, general health news,
health resources and special event announce-
ments.The look and feel of the site is very clean

and simple, so visitors and potential patients can find
what they need quickly.
TheMethodist Children’s Hospital, a campus of Method-
ist Hospital, site is particularly colorful and inviting, with a
definite appeal to children and Young Heroes’ Club® mem-
bers. The page features information for parents along with
activities and information especially geared toward children.
The website communicates a contemporary and active
approach to displaying health information, physician in-
formation and events, along with a robust section that’s
all “About Us.” This tab describes the health care system’s
mission, vision and values, and its leadership structure.
New features are being developed that will soon allow
friends and families to order gifts and flowers for patients at
Methodist Hospital through the Blue Bird Gift Shop. Plans
are also under way for an online catalog of items available
in the Methodist Women’s Center and Lactation Center.
The center features many unique items, and customers
have been asking for an online resource.
An active newsroom is available to keep the commu-
nity up-to-date on new services and events happening at
Methodist Healthcare. Along the top of the page, visitors
can access all the social media networks that Methodist
Healthcare uses to communicate with its many “fans.”
