HEART f Your Health

Presented by Adam Denker, MD
Everyone has heard that a
healthy diet and lifestyle can
significantly lower your risk for
cardiovascular disease. But
what does this actually mean?
According to the American Heart
Association, heart disease is
the number one killer of women
and is more deadly than all
other forms of cancer combined.
Cigarette smoking accounts
for more than 440,000 annual
deaths. Exercising a few min-
utes every day can significantly
reduce your risk of heart dis-
ease. Small changes in your diet
can add years to your life. Learn
about these preventive mea-
sures and more from Dr. Denker
as he teaches you about the
HEART of your health.
