More than 200 patients and their families and friends gathered to honor cancer survivors who have proven that life after a cancer diagnosis can be fruit- ful, rewarding, and even inspiring at the Cancer Survivors Celebration, hosted by Former Spurs player and cancer prevention advocate Sean Elliott and his wife, Claudia Zapata-Elliott, M.S., R.D., are teaming up with South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) and Methodist Healthcare to increase awareness of the benefits of screening mammography. Many women with breast cancer show no symptoms, making the screen- ing mammogram critical to early detection and a successful treatment plan. Women who book a mammogram at STRIC using the promo code “SPURS” will receive a complimen- tary Sean Elliott Spurs T-shirt with Elliott’s name and iconic number “32” on the back, while supplies last.
