Most people think about their babies for 9 months, we’ve been thinking about stronger, healthier babies for over 75 years. THE CAMPAIGN The March for Babies fundraising campaign culminates in one of the largest charitable walking events in the nation. Started right here in San Antonio in 1970, it has raised more than $2 billion nationally to benefit all babies. EVENT DETAILS Sunday, May 6, 2018, Toyota Field 5106 David Edwards Drive San Antonio, Texas 78233 6:45 a.m. Parking Gates Open 7:45 a.m. Opening Ceremony 8:00 a.m. March for Babies Begins Distance: approximately 3.1 miles PARTICIPATION More than 3,500 participants, representing over 300 com- pany, organization, school and family teams, are expected to raise over $600,000 during the campaign that runs from Feb. 1, 2018 through June 31, 2018. PURPOSE Money raised through March for Babies enables March of Dimes to continue its ongoing investment in lifesaving research and programs so that every parent will know the joy of a healthy newborn. Seventy-six cents of every dollar raised goes directly to support the mission of the March of Dimes.
